The kick-off meeting of the PoliRural project took place on the 19th, 20th and 21st of June 2019 at the Czech University of Life Sciences, in Prague, Czech Republic. The event marked the launch of the project and was a chance for all the partners, project and policy officer, representatives of the European Commission, to meet.
The three-day event started with an introduction of all the partners, including their contribution to the PoliRural project.
Role of Club of Ossiach in the PoliRural project:
The main role of CoO will be the dissemination of results World-wide. This will be provided through CoO network, but also in relation with AgriFuture Days, which CoO will organise. CoO will continue in building of its think tank supporting utilisation of ICT in Agriculture in global scale to guarantee food security.
Moreover, CoO will build up a global network of scientists, which contains the country-specific data of the agricultural and forestry products and their details such as stocks or growth, or seeding, fertilization recommendations etc.
CoO will manage a pilot project together with the local chamber of agriculture as well as the Federal Ministry for sustainability and tourism that covers the interests of all parties involved. That are in particular farm management for farmers, logistic management for machine
